The Fox Valley Coin Club

The Fox Valley Coin Club hosted their 69th Annual Coin Show in April at the Hilton Paper Valley in downtown Appleton. The room was spacious, and dealers and collectors had plenty of room to move around. Greeters met people as they entered the showroom with various free items and information about coin collecting. They also surveyed how people found out about the show. The survey found that many attendees learned about the show from the N.O.W. magazine calendar. As people entered the ballroom, they were offered the opportunity to support the club by buying raffle tickets (since the show is free), and the club members were available to complete the raffle tickets for buyers. There were several comments from dealers and collectors about the great flow of raffle tickets and the activity of the show. The display case once again had some excellent prizes, including a grand prize of a $2.5 gold piece. We had many young collectors and, for the second year in a row, had a children’s area with a penny table and free coin books for the children to be able to fill.

The Chippewa Valley Coin Club

The Chippewa Valley Coin Club Spring 2025 show outgrows the venue. This past April 6, 2025, was the Spring Coin and Note Show sponsored by the Chippewa Valley Coin Club. These shows that the club puts on continue to grow in attendance, and this Spring show was no different. The room was packed with attendees from open until close, and this growth means that future shows will be moving to a larger venue. We continue to see more people drawn to the hobby, whether it’s first-time collectors or people adding to their collections after time away. Whether you are looking to add a graded and slabbed specimen, trying to fill your collection book, or whatever your collecting goals are, there is something for everyone at these shows. Vendors came from neighboring Minnesota as well as around the northwestern region of Wisconsin. The Chippewa Valley Coin Club continues to grow this hobby in anticipation of the presence of N.O.W. at the Spring 2026 show next April.

The Waukesha Coin Club

The Waukesha Coin Club‘s 2025 show is a success! Wow! Wisconsin’s collectors were eager to get out in the nice sunny weather and search for treasures and deals at The Waukesha Coin Club’s 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 55th Annual Coin Show at the New Berlin Ale House Banquet Facility. It was the first show of the season for Southeast Wisconsin, and they were ready. By day’s end, a total of 561 persons were in attendance. Dealer booths were sold out, and some of the dealers were a bit overwhelmed by business volume, which was still going strong after 2:30 p.m. Most dealers complained that they didn’t have time for lunch, even though a restaurant was located at the west end of the building.
