Recognizing the special diplomatic gift the original became, here is your chance to own a modern version. Though the phrasing on “silver dollar gold coin” is a bit contradictory.

September 3, 2026: American Eagle 2026 One Ounce Palladium Uncirculated Coin – American Eagle Coins – West Point (W) – This product goes on sale at noon Eastern Standard Time and has a “250” privy mark to celebrate the nation’s anniversary. There is a household order limit of one item per family, and also has a dual-date “1776-2026” inscription on the front.

FALL TBD: Comic Art 24-Karat Gold Proof Coin – Supergirl - West Point (W) – While this character’s recent cinematic outing did not do well (which is such a shame, as the source material is so good! Go read it if you have not!), maybe there is hope for Kara to catch on in coinage? There is no specific date set for this piece as of filing, and when it does go on sale, orders will be limited to one per household, which, I guess, is fitting given Kara is a lone lady Kryptonian?

FALL TBD: Morgan and Peace Dollar 2026 Two-Coin Set – Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars – Philadelphia (P) – Another item which curiously does not have a release date set on it. There is a household order limit of two, and I cannot think of another time in recent memory when so much on the schedule was TBD. Can anyone else recall? As well, it seems odd there isn’t a new album series for the modern coins. This editor feels like that would be a fun thing to go and collect.

FALL TBD: Comic Art 2.5 Ounce Silver Medal – Robin – Philadelphia (P) – This item does not have a household order limit and will be for sale for $400.00. Look, I like comic books (Jack Kirby is even my personal hero), and I even think Robin is often very well written. But, really? We’re really doing a Robin release? What’s next? George Costanza? Tonto? Patrick Star? I just feel like a sidekick character is not the one for a U.S. release.
